Bava Kamma 56-62 – Daf Yomi One Week at a Time

This week we will learn about the liability one has to guard his fire. One is liable for anything that gets burned on someone else鈥檚 property, even scorched earth and stones. If a person lit a fire on his property and it crossed a river or a road, one isn鈥檛 liable for those damages.

Rabbanit Dr. Tamara Spitz delivers the 鈥淒af Yomi: One Week at a Time鈥 series at . She is the Rosh Beit Midrash and a Mashgicha Ruchanit at Midreshet Torah v'Avodah. She lectures on various topics including Daf Yomi, Gemara, Halacha, and Tefilah. Dr. Spitz has held academic and administrative positions at various Midrashot and served as the Jewish Studies Principal of Instituto Yavne, one of the main Jewish day schools of Montevideo, Uruguay. She also runs a Chiropractic practice specializing in Women鈥檚 Health in Gush Etzion and is a Hip-Hop dance teacher.
