Daf Yomi: One Week at a Time: Shabbat 137-144

This week we will review key concepts in Daf 137-144 including straining liquids, creating a tent (Ohel), feeding animals, and moving muktzah (to be defined in class) on Shabbat. We will also answer the question: Can the Torah ever be forgotten?

Rabbanit Dr. Tamara Spitz delivers the “Daf Yomi: One Week at a Time” series at WebYeshiva.org . She is the Rosh Beit Midrash and a Mashgicha Ruchanit at Midreshet Torah v'Avodah. She lectures on various topics including Daf Yomi, Gemara, Halacha, and Tefilah. Dr. Spitz has held academic and administrative positions at various Midrashot and served as the Jewish Studies Principal of Instituto Yavne, one of the main Jewish day schools of Montevideo, Uruguay. She also runs a Chiropractic practice specializing in Women’s Health in Gush Etzion and is a Hip-Hop dance teacher.
