Yevamot: 107-113 – Daf Yomi One Week at a Time

This week we will learn the entire thirteenth chapter of Yevamot. We will be learning about the orphaned minor girl whose mother or brother married her off. She has the ability to annul the marriage. This is called Mi’un and she has the right to do this as long as she is a minor.

Dr. Tamara Spitz

Rabbanit Dr. Tamara Spitz delivers the “Daf Yomi: One Week at a Time” series at WebYeshiva.org . She is the Rosh Beit Midrash and a Mashgicha Ruchanit at Midreshet Torah v'Avodah. She lectures on various topics including Daf Yomi, Gemara, Halacha, and Tefilah. Dr. Spitz has held academic and administrative positions at various Midrashot and served as the Jewish Studies Principal of Instituto Yavne, one of the main Jewish day schools of Montevideo, Uruguay. She also runs a Chiropractic practice specializing in Women’s Health in Gush Etzion and is a Hip-Hop dance teacher.
