Masechet Makkot continues the themes of Masechet Sanhedrin, focusing on justice and retribution. It explores topics such as false witnesses (eidim zomemim), exile for unintentional manslaughter, and the laws of lashes, offering deep insights into accountability, fairness, and divine justice. At just 23 dapim, Makkot is a concise masechet and provides an excellent entry point or continuation for your learning journey.

What if this is my first time learning Talmud?
Worry not! Rabbanit Michelle Farber offers detailed, accessible shiurim designed to guide students through the complexities of the text.
Do I need my own Talmud?
No. The necessary text accompanies the shiur. But if you have one we recommend you use it to follow along.
What happens if I miss one day?
No worries! You can make it up the next day or over the weekend.
How long are the shiurim?
About the length of an average Netflix show, 45 minutes. (You will have the option to speed it up.)
