Breaking Bones

Pesachim Daf 85

Which bones of the korban Pesach can be broken and which not. Understanding Rabbi Shimon Ben Lakish’s position in his dispute with Rebbi Yochanan regarding which bones can be broken within the opinion of Rebbi (bottom of 84:)

Understanding why the Rabanan issued a decree of impure hands on נותר ופיגול

Was this decree extended to יוצא? What about יוצא מהחבורה

New mishna how to cut off the meat from the bone that did leave the designated eating areas for the korban. This relates to Tefilah as brought in by the Gemara and is very relevant to the current Tefilah situation during corona.

Status of doorways, roof tops and second floors regarding holiness.

There is a wonderful statement regarding Tefilah in the gemara by Rebbi Yehoshua ben Levi  – quoted from Sefaria:

GEMARA: Rav Yehuda said that Rav said: And the halakha is similar with regard to prayer, in that one who is standing outside the doorway cannot be included together with those praying inside. The Gemara notes that Rav disagrees with Rabbi Yehoshua ben Levi, as Rabbi Yehoshua ben Levi said: Even a barrier of iron does not separate between the Jewish people and their Father in Heaven. Barriers are irrelevant with regard to prayer.

This seems like a hint to the current days as well as a reminder of the opening of the Iron Curtain in Russia.
