A Meaningful & Inspiring Learning Journey
This summer, we invite you to set a powerful goal and complete a masechet with us.
The #SukkahChallenge is a focused learning program tailored to your personal schedule, designed to help you finish masechet Sukkah right before the High Holidays.
4 days a week – anywhere, anytime, at your own pace
Starting Monday, June 1st
Why Masechet Sukkah?
- It’s Familiar: Explore the mitzvot you already love, from the practical laws of building a Sukkah to the deeper secrets behind the Arba Minim (Four Species).
- It’s Fascinating: The text beautifully bridges physical actions with the profound meaning behind them.
- It’s Deeply Relevant: The Masechet dives into deeper questions – like “What truly defines a home?”.

How it Works:
- 🎧 4 Days a Week: Receive a clear, structured daily shiur (Monday–Thursday).
- ⏰ On Your Own Schedule: Learn whenever and wherever fits your lifestyle.
- 🌟 Supportive Community: Join a global network of encouraging fellow learners.
- 🎉 Finish & Celebrate: Complete a masechet with a real sense of accomplishment, and celebrate a meaningful siyum!
- 💙 Completely Free: No cost to participate.
- 👥 Open to Everyone: Women and men, beginners and advanced learners alike.
Start with just one day, one page – and surprise yourself with what you can achieve!
Note: We will not be learning a new daf Friday, Shabbat or Sunday. The weekend will be reserved to catch up or review at your convenience.

#SukkahChallenge Q&A
🤔 What if this is my first time learning Talmud?
No worries! Rabbanit Michelle Farber’s shiurim are detailed and clearly explained 🎧✨
At first you may not understand every detail — and that’s totally fine.
We’re here to learn an overview of the daf. It’s a unique learning style that may feel different from anything you’ve done before.
📘 Do I need my own Gemara?
No. The shiur includes all necessary text.
But if you do have a Gemara for Sukkah, we recommend following along with it 🙌
⏰ What happens if I miss one day?
No stress! You can catch up the next day or over the weekend 🗓️💪
🎬 How long are the shiurim?
About the length of an average Netflix episode — around 45 minutes.
(And yes, you can speed it up if you like ⚡)
✨How do I make a Siyum?
We will complete the masechet in time for making a siyum for Shavuot!
Everything you need to know about making a siyum can be found here – https://hadran.org.il/what-is-a-siyum/
