Yoma 4: Moshe’s Days in the Cloud

A description of Moshe going up to Mount Sinai to get the Torah. What steps did Moshe need to take, in terms of sequestering before God invited him in. Also, the debate between R. Yosi HaGalili and R. Akiva, about what date was the giving of the Torah, with implications for time sequestered. But through all this discussion, where is the mention of Shavuot?! And yet, the holiday that commemorates the giving of the Torah is not discussed here; rather, it’s the giving of the Torah and the steps Moshe took.
