Yoma Daf 42 – Is either the Par of the Kohen Gadol or the Parah Aduma kosher to be shechted by a זר – foreigner – in this case a non-Kohen or perhaps referring to anyone who is not the Kohen Gadol. Dispute between Rav and Shmuel discussed.

This discsussion points to which avodah for the Parah Adumah must be done by a Kohen and during the day and which can be done by anyone pure including a woman and at night.
